Some doctors also claim that following a keto diet in the long run can be troublesome for your heart.

What Should You Do?

A lot of healthcare providers do not approve the keto diet. However, this does not mean that you have to stop following it at all. These doctors do not completely disagree on its effectiveness; all they say is that it isn’t good for you in the long run.

You can follow this diet for a couple of months and alternate it with another diet. Alternatively, you can also seek advice from other doctors to make sure that you have multiple opinions. There are a lot of doctors who do approve the ketogenic diet. Ask them how it would be beneficial for you in the long run. You are free to follow it once the doctor gives you a convincing answer.
